The Role

As a Paraplanner, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Financial Advisers by delivering high-quality technical and client-focused work.

You will be responsible for producing detailed suitability reports, conducting in-depth research, and ensuring all recommendations align with client objectives and regulatory standards.

This is a varied, technical role that requires strong analytical ability, attention to detail and the confidence to interpret complex financial information, playing a vital part in the advice process!

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing accurate and compliant suitability reports and client documentation within agreed timescales
  • Conducting technical and product research to support financial planning recommendations
  • Analysing existing client arrangements and contributing to review processes
  • Working closely with Financial Advisers to fully understand client objectives, needs, and financial circumstances
  • Ensuring all work meets regulatory standards and internal compliance procedures
  • Responding to client and adviser queries with clear, accurate, and professional communication
  • Supporting annual review processes in line with service level agreements
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of financial products, taxation, and legislation
  • Ensuring all CPD requirements are met and recorded

About You

We’re looking for an experienced Paraplanner who thrives in a fast-paced, professional, collaborative environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality work.

You will ideally have:

  • Previous experience as a Paraplanner within an IFA/Financial Planning environment
  • Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments and tax planning
  • Excellent report writing skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly
  • A solid understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Minimum Diploma qualified
